One of the biggest recent changes to The Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas is the grand opening of Goodwill of Southern Nevada. As part of their ongoing renovations, the Boulevard Mall is bringing in popular new stores and vendors to regain its foothold in the shopping community. Goodwill, a premier retail anchor, now open at the Boulevard Mall rests in a 28,000 square foot location on the former site of Dillard’s. Goodwill is home to a completely remodeled area with new fixtures, flooring, lighting, dressing rooms, restrooms, and two entrances one from the parking lot, and inside the mall. Goodwill also provides an attended donation center in the store’s parking lot.
Resembling a modern day department store, Goodwill boasts a 17,000 square foot sales floor packed with everything you’d expect: clothing for men, women, and children; toys, electronics, kitchen goods, accessories, jewelry, furniture, and plenty more. With a reputation for affordable goods and significant savings, the Boulevard Mall has reinforced that image by partnering with Goodwill. Moreover, Goodwill’s exposure in the popular Mall contributes to their donation sales and promotes their mission of giving back to the community around them, not t
o mention providing more job opportunities.
What makes Goodwill at the Boulevard Mall even more impressive is the out-of-the-box introduction. The 28,000 square foot store is the largest in Goodwill’s 40-year local history. Also, per Vegasinc.com, it’s the first Goodwill store in an enclosed shopping mall in not only the valley but perhaps in the entire country. Sansone Companies, the local real estate company that purchased the Boulevard Mall in 2013, is on a mission to revamp the formerly fledgling Mall and restore its glory. With Goodwill, they decided to go in a unique direction that benefits the mall, its guests, and the local area.
Thrifters Anonymous, Shana and Edwina who are best friends with a love for sequin, blazers, and all things vintage, frequently shop at Goodwill at The Boulevard Mall.
